Using our services

 

These terms apply to the missingSTEP website and apps that link to them, including technical trading and market-analysis tools. By using these services, you agree to these terms and any additional terms shown for a particular app or purchase. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

 

Research tools, not investment advice

 

Our trading tools provide information for research and education. Charts, signals, alerts, backtests and AI-generated explanations are not personalized investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell a security. They do not take your finances, objectives or risk tolerance into account. You are responsible for your decisions and should seek qualified advice when appropriate.

 

Trading involves risk, including loss of capital. Historical and simulated results do not predict future performance. Backtests depend on data, assumptions and model limitations and may not reflect real execution, liquidity, slippage, fees, taxes or all market conditions. An alternative identified by research is a candidate for evaluation, not a promise of better returns.

 

Data, AI and alerts

 

Market data and calculations may be delayed, incomplete or incorrect. AI output can contain errors. Verify material information independently before relying on it. Monitoring evaluates the rules and schedule supported by the app; it is not continuous supervision or guaranteed real-time delivery. Internet access, data availability, service interruptions and device notification settings can affect alerts.

 

Subscriptions and allowances

 

Available features, prices, billing periods and usage allowances are shown in the app and at checkout. Purchases through Apple App Store or Google Play are processed by that store. Recurring subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled under the store’s rules. Manage or cancel them through the store account used to subscribe. Deleting the app or its data does not cancel billing.

 

A canceled subscription normally remains available until the end of the paid period, subject to refunds, payment failures and the store’s rules. Refund requests are handled under the applicable store policy and your statutory rights. Restoring a purchase restores eligible access; it may not restore locally stored conversations or saved work.

 

Usage limits, reset schedules and feature availability depend on the selected plan and the information shown in the app. Annual billing does not necessarily make an allowance annual or unlimited. Unless expressly stated otherwise, unused allowances do not roll over. Plan changes may affect monitoring capacity; an app may pause excess monitors and ask you to choose which to keep.

 

Acceptable use and your content

 

Use the services lawfully. Do not interfere with their security or operation, bypass subscription or usage limits, abuse automated access, or redistribute licensed market data or proprietary content without permission. Restrictions apply only to the extent permitted by law.

 

You retain rights in the content you submit. You allow missingSTEP and its service providers to process that content as needed to provide the features you request, as described in the Privacy Policy. Submit only information you are entitled to use, and keep your own copies of important work.

 

Availability and changes

 

We may update features, supported data, plans and these terms as the services evolve. We will provide notice of material changes where required and honor applicable consumer rights and store requirements. We may restrict access to address misuse, security risks or legal obligations. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

 

Responsibility and legal rights

 

To the extent permitted by law, services are provided as available without guarantees of accuracy, suitability, profitability or uninterrupted operation. missingSTEP is not responsible for trading losses resulting from reliance on app content or for failures outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
